Karyes Typikon

The Karyes Typicon is a typikon (''tipik'', liturgical office order) written in 1199 by Saint Sava (Rastko Nemanjić), the first "Archbishop of the Serbs" (founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church), the youngest son of Serbian Grand Prince Stefan Nemanja (r. 1166-1196).〔http://www.rastko.rs/knjizevnost/liturgicka/svsava-sabrana/svsava-sabrana_05_c.html〕
The Žitije (Vita Simeonis) and Studenica Typikon were written by Saint Sava later.〔"On Medieval and Renaissance Slavic Writing" Henrik Birnbaum 1974, Mouton & Co〕
It is published along with the Catalog of Cyrillic manuscripts from the Hilandar monastery since 1908.
